Siddharth In Big Trouble Because Of BJP !!

Actor Siddharth has always raised his voice against the injustice that happens in the society. The passing of citizenship amendment bill made him to post several tweets against it and now it caused a big trouble for the “Kaaviya Thalaivan” actor it seems.

It all started when Siddharth expressed his disappointment over the chief minister of Tamilnadu Edappadi Pazhaniswamy for stretching his support for the CAB act. The Citizenship (Amendment) Bill 2019, that seeks to give Indian nationality to non-Muslim refugees from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan passed the lower House test recently. The Bill seeks to amend the definition of illegal immigrant for Hindu, Sikh, Parsi, Buddhist and Christian immigrants from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh, who have lived in India without documentation. They will be granted fast-track Indian citizenship in six years. So far, 12 years of residence has been the standard.

Further he posted many tweets against the Modi government for several reasons. The actor even referred Narendra Modi and Amit Shah as Shakuni and Duryodhana. For shutting down the Internet to stop protests, Siddharth through his tweet said that it shows how arrogant and cowardice, the decisions of the government are.

“First they will filter Muslims, then Christians, then other religions, then they will corner the oppressed castes and slyly go after the rights of women. They will always find a way to divide. They will always find a way to hate. This is their way. Say no to fascism! Save #India.” he said in one of his tweets as well.

Now the actor has let his 42 lakh of twitter followers know that he is being threatened by a set of people who are followed by Prime minister Narendra Modi in twitter. He said that he is trying to speak his mind in a free country and informed them that their ugly words and draconian laws will not choke voices of dissent.

“I’m getting tweet threats for me and my loved ones to be fixed, arrested etc. from several handles that are followed by PM @narendramodi. We are trying to speak our minds in a free country. Ugly words and draconian laws will not choke voices of dissent. We will prevail! Jai Hind.” said the tweet which was posted by the actor today.

For this tweet the actor received immense support from his followers. “We are with you, Sidd” said many of them in a way of stretching their supportive hand. Comment your views on the tweet shared by the 40 year old actor !!
