SDM Jyoti Maurya and her alleged boyfriend Manish Dubey took a new turn as an inquiry found Dubey guilty of tarnishing the department’s image. He claimed to have caught them “red-handed” leaving a hotel once and even accused them of conspiring to have him killed.

The situation worsened for Dubey when purported chats between him and Jyoti started circulating on social media. This further fueled the controversy and brought Dubey into the limelight. DIG Home Guard Santosh Singh conducted the investigation and submitted a report to DG Home Guard BK Maurya on Tuesday.
