As Kohli is performing exceptionally well in test cricket now, in a way of trolling this tweet of Sanjay, the popular twitter account Trendulkar wrote “This is the tweet of the decade for me.”

This tweet grabbed the attention of Manjrekar himself. The former cricketer and commentator defended his 7 years old tweet by replying “Very proud of that tweet. In his 1st year in Tests, after scores of 11,0,23,9 in Aus, I remember, fans/media saying Virat does not belong here & had his neck on the chopping block for the next Test. I said give him 1 more Test to be sure. Glad Dhoni & me were on the same page.😌”

Sanjay manjrekar is very well known for his biased commentary and selective criticism. The Mumbai based cricketer can be seen supporting players who belongs to Mumbai, especially Rohit Sharma, the cricketer whose bat speaks for himself for past few years. He is an ardent supporter of Mumbai indians in IPL tournament as well. (Also Read : “Sanjay Manjrekar Must Ask Apologize To Harsha Bhogle” Internet Demands !!)

But you wanted to make sure Kohli doesn't belong here. Dhoni gave him chances coz he knew Kohli belonged.

He played international cricket for India from 1987 until 1996 as a right-handed middle order batsman. He scored just over two thousand runs in Test cricket at an average of 37.14. He occasionally played as wicket-keeper as well. What do you think on this justification gave by Sanjay for his old tweet ?? Comment your views below !!
