Sanchana Natarajan is a rising Indian actress and model who has made a name for herself in the Tamil and Telugu film industries. She was born and raised in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

Sanchana started her career in the entertainment industry as a model, working in numerous print and commercial ads. However, it was her interest in acting that led her to pursue a career in films. Sanchana made her acting debut with the Tamil film Irudhi Suttru in 2016, directed by Sudha Kongara. Although she played a small role in the film, her performance was praised by critics and audiences alike.

After her debut, Sanchana went on to appear in several Tamil and Telugu films, including 2.0 (2018), a science-fiction film directed by S. Shankar, where she played a small role as a scientist. Despite having limited screen time, Sanchana’s acting received positive reviews, and she gained recognition for her talent and dedication.

Apart from that she also acts on various adds for jewellery marketing, On Monday she came up on instagram with a story that her picture is placed on an add without her permission. This makes her to disappointment towards marketing. So she make an emotional note by describing that It’s disappointing to see brands disregard ethics by using my photos from a shoot not intended for marketing without permission. Asking for permission should be the bare minimum. This behavior is unacceptable, and it’s not okay to assume that you can get away with it.

“It’s really sad to see how brands have no ethics when it comes to using pictures from shoot thatwas not meant for marketing purpose.The least ya’ll could have done is ask for permissionbefore using my face for your marketing needs.If you thought you could get away with this! I’msorry but this is unacceptable.” She mentioned on her instagram story.

Three days ago, She had a terrible experience with a jewelry brand, @jjjewellerymart, which used her picture from a social media shoot for their hoarding without her consent. Despite she tried several attempts to communicate with them, they refused to take full responsibility for their mistake, and instead offered her a ‘gift’ as compensation when she demanded payment for the usage of her picture.

Furthermore, they promised to take down the hoarding in two days, but have failed to do so even after three days have passed. This unprofessional and unethical behavior is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the brand’s values. It is disappointing to see brands think they can get away with such behavior and disregard the rights of the individuals involved.

So she make an emotional note by describing,”Three days ago, I had shared a story on my Instagram in association with @iiewellerymart, where they used a picture of me for hoardings from a shoot that was only meant for social media purposes. After several back and forth communication with them, during which they refused to take full responsibility for the mishap, they tried to compensate for it by offering to give me a ‘gift’ when I demanded a certain sum for the picture used. I was also told that the hoarding would be
taken down in 2 days, which still hasn’t happened”.

“Neither did they pay me for the usage of my face for their brand, nor have they kept to their word of taking the hoarding down.This is completely unprofessional and I cannot believe brands think it’s okay to do this, and get away with it. This type of unethical and unprofessional behavior is what I do not want to be associated with in my career, and therefore I choose not to work with this brand ever again. I hope they learn from their grave mistake, and I hope other actors/models do not have to face similar experiences with them or any other brand in the future”. She added.

As an actor/model, She value professionalism and ethical conduct, and this experience has left a sour taste in her mouth. She do not want to be associated with such brands in her career, and Sanchana hope they realize the gravity of their mistake and make amends.

It is important for brands to understand that individuals have the right to their image and that they cannot use it without their explicit consent. Such actions can not only harm the individual but also damage the brand’s reputation. It is crucial for brands to uphold ethical and professional standards and respect the rights of individuals.
