Samantha reportedly blocked an online user for making a negative comment about her recently released film “Shaakunthalam”. On account of the release of the movie Shakuntalam in which Samantha is lpaying the lead role, an online user has commented that the movie is not worth watching and the dubbing of the movie was not as expected.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu, one of the leading and highest-paid actresses in India, recently shared her thoughts on the south Indian film industry’s progress over the years. In an interview, she expressed her happiness about the industry finally getting its due recognition and how far it has come.

Samantha is among the many south Indian actors who have gained popularity nationwide in recent years. With the emergence of the “pan-India” trend, the south film industry has been booming and has been doing better than Hindi films at the box office. This success has not come easy, as She revealed the struggles faced by southern actors in the past.

Shaakuntalam, which was directed by Gunasekhar and is based on Kalidasa’s Sanskrit play Abhijnanasakuntalam, had been highly anticipated by fans of Her and the Indian film industry in general. In an interview with Pinkvilla, She had spoken about her character in the film, saying that she connected to her on a personal level and that the character was very much like her in terms of being strong and firm in her beliefs.

She went on to say that the emotions explored in the film, such as love, betrayal, and redemption, were universal and timeless, and that they would continue to resonate with audiences for generations to come. It was clear that She was deeply invested in her work and that she approached each project with the utmost care and dedication.

Consequently, one of her twitter follower stated that the movie Shaakuntalam is not worth watching and and her dubbing is not as expected and the user has also made provoking comments like asking Samantha not to over act. ” Cinema Disaster. Worst movie i have ever watched. Samantha your dubbing sucks to the core. Now calm down, and stop over action”  comment of the online user read.

Following this, She reportedlyhas blocked the user from her twitter handle. This is garnering attention in the micro blogging social media media site and that online user has re-commented which revealed that She has blocked him for just the prior comment he made and he also stated that the actress is very cheap. “She blocked me for just telling that i didn’t like the movie. Samantha you are very cheap”he said by sharing the screenshot.

Samantha will next be sharing screen space in the 11th film of the Vijay Deverakonda, it is directed by Shiva Nirvana under the banner Mythri Movie Makers. It was to release on Dec 2022 but has been postponed to the 2023 release, confirmed for 1st Sep.Samantha, who is still recovering from auto immune disease Myositis, opened up on how work has been a huge solace during this period. She added, “Every day it’s like ‘today’s scene was amazing’ and I think that’s what keeps me going. That’s what makes me forget about the pain and the fatigue of what I’m going through because it is so rewarding, the feeling of just nailing a shot, nailing a scene. And it makes my day.”
