The impact of coal crisis in power plant is pretty much clear in Jharkand. Electricity generating companies have cut the electricity supply of Jharkand. Load shedding is being made in the entire state to manage the shortage of electricity.
Except for the capital Ranchi and Jamshedpur, there was several hours of power cut in other places. In rural areas, there was power cut for six-seven hours. A national level meeting was held with the Central Electricity Authority on the energy crisis. In this meeting held online at the Energy Headquarters in Dhruva, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Punjab, Gujarat and other states talked about the power generation being affected due to the shortage of coal.
On experiencing the same, Jharkand resident Sakshi Singh, wife of former Chennai Superkings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni came up with a tweet expressing her displeasure over the continued power cut.
“As a tax payer of Jharkhand just want to know why is there a power crisis in Jharkhand since so many years ? We are doing our part by consciously making sure we save energy !” read the tweet of Sakshi.

Replying to her tweet, a twitter user uploaded the tweet saying that she has every right to question it as her husband is the highest tax payer of Jharkhand state.

Jharkhand is the highest coal producer in the country yet so much power cut as we are living in 2000 era.@HemantSorenJMM instead of taking coal blocks on your own name try focusing on restoration of power crisis. https://t.co/LsVyqQvlAy

Absl right @SaakshiSRawat ! Leaving all colours of political posturing aside It’s indeed a question for everyone in all the dispensations till date to answer.
It’s unfortunate that we are still struggling for a basic amenity like electricity. @HemantSorenJMM Ji FYI. https://t.co/tV6p4H1Gcn
