Netizens started trending “Resign PM Modi” hashtag on Monday and continued to do it till Tuesday as a result of the massive spike on the COVID 19 positive cases in the country. The tweets under the hashtag blamed Prime minister Narendra Modi for the emergence of COVID 19 second wave. The internet users slammed him for permitting mass gatherings such as Kumbh Mela and political rallies in the country.
