To promote his upcoming South Indian movie “Sita Ramam” among the Tamil audience, actor Dulquer Salman who predominantly appears in Malayalam films, attended the press meet with Tamil press reporters. Throughout the event, the actor mostly faced, rude and irrelevant questions and was left embarrassed. Fans who saw the actor’s state, slammed reporters including senior journalist and comedy actor Bayilwaan Ranganathan for their inappropriate questions to the actor.

“Sita Ramam” which is scheduled to release on 5th of August was originally made in Telugu language and is going to be released in Tamil and Malayalam as a dubbed version. Along with Dulquer Salmaan, the film stars Rashmika Mandanna and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles. Directed Hanu Raghuvapudi, the film’s music was composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar.

The actor who attended a press meet in Hyderabad for the film’s promotion, landed in chennai to promote the film among the Tamil audience. In the press meet, controversial film journalist Bayilwaan Ranganathan ased the actor to tell the reason behind the film’s title. He asked whether the title is “Sita Raman” or “Sita Namam” or “Sita Ramam” and also said “I want to know about the reason behind the title “Ramam” now” in a rude tone.

The actor who was taken a bit back, asked “You want to know?” and added that he doesn’t write the script and didn’t keep the title for the film as well. “My director should have been here to answer your question but he isn’t” Dulquer said. “So you acted in the film without knowing the meaning of your film’s title?” Bayilwaan further asked.

Without losing his cool, Dulquer replied “While I committed this film, there was no title for the film. The title was kept only a month ago”

Further, Dulquer was asked questions such whether “Sita Ramam” was a devotional film and the actor replied to them in a composed way. A reporter asked why Rashmika or the film’s director are not attending the promotions of “Sita ramam” movie. Starting to answer with a chuckle, the actor said “It’s not something they planned. Rashmika was available yesterday, she was in Hyderabad and went back for her shoot. Director is currently in the final mix to complete the movie for the release” the actor said.

Fans who saw the press meet, slammed the reporters who asked inappropriate questions to the actor. They also appreciated DQ for handling the situation in a cool and composed way. On the work front, Dulquer Salman is going to appear in a film named “Chup : Revenge of the Artist”.
