Instagram has always been an exciting platform whether one likes it or not. When it comes to cricket, the players use Twitter to express their thoughts and feelings on many issues. Friendly banters among the players are common too and cricket lovers are more often than not, left entertained by it.
Yuzvendra Chahal and Ritika Sajdeh’s comical and sweet Instagram banters involving Rohit Sharma have been going on for a while now. For some reason, they are always interesting as on one end, we have the young leggie who made his IPL debut under Rohit Sharma and on the other hand, it’s the Hitman’s wife.

Riding high on confidence after outplaying New Zealand in the series opener at McLean Park on Wednesday, vice-captain Rohit Sharma seems to be in the relaxed mood after the victory. Away from home, Rohit shared an adorable post on his official Instagram handle where he can be seen with his wife Ritika Sajdeh. He shared a picture in which he wrote, “Miss my Love”. The couple recently had their first child – a daughter – because of which Rohit skipped the final Test against Australia in Sydney earlier this month and returned only ahead of the ODI series, slamming a breath-taking hundred in the first game. The picture instantly garnered huge admiration by Rohit and Ritika’s fans on Insta as comments started to pour in.
To this Rohit Sharma’s wife who missed this tour of New Zealand expressed her emotion in the comment section :
But, there was one comment which drew everyone’s attention and it was of none other than Team India leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal. Known for his funny and out-of-the-box humour, Chahal knowingly somewhat spoiled Rohit and Ritika’s special moment with a hilarious reply. The wily spinner wrote in the comments section, “I miss myself”.

Yuzvendra Chahal, India’s in-form leg-spinner in the limited overs entered into the conversation between the couple. The 28-year-old bowler shares a cordial relation with Rohit and Ritika and has been seen sharing light moments with them in the past as well. This time, too, he chipped in saying “I miss myself”.
The Indian team though did not miss Chahal on the ground ever since he returned to don the blue jersey. He bagged the man of the match on that occasion after India completed a 7-wicket victory and in the very next game, too, he took two wickets against New Zealand in the first ODI in Napier. Both the wickets were key ones – of Ross Taylor and Tom Latham – who Chahal dismissed by taking return catches. India won this game by 8 wickets.

The leg-spinner though is yet to play a Test for India but has emerged as a key member of Virat Kohli’s limited-overs teams with over 108 international wickets and could be very well on the flight to the World Cup starting in May.
