Rohini Silver Screen: The famous Theatre has now gotten into a controversy for not letting certain groups of people into the theatre. There are several cinemas in Chennai that are highly celebrated by fans. One such theater is Rohini Theatre, which is particularly popular for the release of films featuring actors Ajith and Vijay. These occasions are marked by enthusiastic celebrations, including firecrackers, music, and lively festivities.

Today, the Tamil film “Pathu Thala,” featuring Actor Silambarasan, has been released in Tamil Nadu, and fans are eagerly flocking to theaters to watch the movie. However, there happened an incident where a group of people who had purchased tickets were not allowed to enter the cinema. The news of their denial sparked anger among fans when a video of the incident was released.

“Pathu Thala, is a Tamil-language neo-noir action thriller film directed by Obeli N. Krishna, released today worldwide. The movie features an ensemble cast, including Simbu, Gautham Karthik, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Anu Sithara, Teejay Arunasalam, Kalaiyarasan, and Redin Kingsley. The film is an adaptation of the 2017 Kannada movie “Mufti.” This movie is generating excitement among fans eagerly anticipating its release today.

After the video went viral, the group was eventually granted entry into the theater and were able to watch the movie. The incident was recorded by public and was released on social media which is garnering attention and is creating controversy among the netizens. Such a behavior is considered to be not acceptable since they had valid tickets for the movie and were not allowed inside.

Eventually the theatre has released a notice stating that the movie has a certificate of U/A and hence they have not allowed children below 10 years inside the theatre. And they have also said that the audience have turned frenzy and took different perspectives of the situation without full understanding. The theatre has also attached a video of the family watching the film after the issue getting the attention of the public.

Many celebrities started commenting on this issue and started accusing the theatre for this behavior. Even music composer G.V. Prakash commented on Twitter, saying that they are just like us. And even though the family was allowed into the theatre after a while, initially the scenario of not allowing them is something not acceptable.
