Robo Shankar’s Attempt Of Translating Heroine’s English Went Completely Wrong !

Comedy actor Robo Shankar, during the press meet of an upcoming film named “Arrtham” starring “Master” Mahendran and Shraddha Das, volunteered himself to translate the heroine’s English to the press reporters. After a point, reporters who felt that he is disturbing the heroine’s speech, asked him to leave saying that everyone in the hall know English language.
Robo Shankar who made his television debut through reality competition show, has been acting in films as an extra ever since early 2000s. He debuted as a mainstream comedian through films such as “Vaayai Moodi Pesavum” and “Itharkku Thaane Aasaipattai Balakumara” etc.
He went on to act with leading stars such as Sivakarthikeyan, Ajith and other as a comedian. Some of the notable films that the actor has been a part of are “Viswasam”, “Maari”, “Irumbuthirai”, “Singam 3” etc. Most lately, the actor took part in the press meet event of “Arrtham” movie starring Master Mahendran, Shraddha Das and others.
Shraddha Das who has been acting in the films that are being made in North India, is making her debut through “Arrtham” and she who doesn’t know the language, talked in English during her turn of speech. Robo Shankar joined her in the stage and started translating her speech, sentence by sentence.

The actress, after greeting the press reporters, said that she is happy to make her Tamil debut with Mahendran. When Shankar translated her English speech to Tamil, the actress confirmed whether he is translating it in a right way, in a light manner. However, reporters who felt that Robo’s translation sounds disturbing, asked him to leave the stage by saying that everyone in the hall knows English.
The actor felt embarrassed and left the stage without sating anything. Watch the video below :

Years ago, after the press screening of “Mr. Local” movie, Robo Shankar said “I don’t know why the screening hall is in pin drop silence whenever a movie being screened to the press people. Do you guys watch it in the same manner while watching with your family ?? I expected at least any one of you to clap but it didn’t happen. Because if you 100 of you enjoyed this movie, I will come to a conclusion that crores of people will enjoy it in theatres.” said Robo Shankar to the press.
“Velai nu vanthutta Vellaikaaran” is the only movie where I saw many press people enjoyed while it is being screened. why don’t you guys encourage the hero and director’s arrival as a gesture of respect ??” Robo asked to which one of the media person replied by saying that there is a huge difference between watching a movie and observing it. “We are observing the movie” the reporter added.
