Balaji Patturaj, a practising radio jockey, made his entry in films with Sundar C’s Theeya Vela Seiyanum Kumaru in 2013. For nearly half a decade, the actor has been doing comedy roles in films.

However, with his upcoming flick titled LKG, he will make his debut as a hero. LKG, directed by Prabhu is tipped to be a political satire film. On November 14, RJ Balaji took to Twitter to share a poster and the film’s release date.

Now he announced that the first single of the film is going to be released on the Republic day. In his official twitter account he announced it by sharing a poster in which he is seen with his co star Priya Anand.

Many reacted to this announcement including filmmaker C.S Amudhan who made Tamizh Padam 1 & 2 which impressed audience for trolling the template of Tamil cinema.

Balaji replied with the reference of famous “Devar magan” dialogue and thanked the director for his inspiration.

Now one of the twitter user, in a way of mocking Balaji said that he will do “Slipper Abishegam” for his cut out on the release day of the film.

Balaji who is known for his witty jokes in public speeches, replied to this mock in his own way. Balaji wrote “இதுவரைக்கும் பண்ணாத மாதிரி அண்டா, அண்டவா பண்ணி நம்ம Mass ah காமிங்க…!🤣😎” (like never before show our mass by doing it in enormous vessels)
