Indian fast bowler Ashok Dinda hit back at Royal Challengers Bangalore on Thursday and reminded them of his career achievements.
“Haters, helping you get your statistics right. Stop and stare well your opinion is not my reality. So shut your hating selves and keep me out of your mouth,’ Dinda wrote on his Facebook account.
Here’s the pictures he shared with the post :

Dinda’s reaction came out just a day after his former Indian Premier League (IPL) team posted a tweet taking a jibe at the bowler. RCB’s bowler Umesh Yadav picked up three wickets against Kings XI Punjab and the team’s social media handle tweeted the bowler’s picture captioning it as “Dinda academy? What’s that?”
The tweet was later taken down by the franchise and they decided to give an explanation for deleting the post.
As some of you pointed out, the previous version of this tweet was in bad taste.
However, for all of you who have relentlessly trolled this lad, he said #challengeAccepted and bowled his heart out! 4-0-36-3, 15 off his last two overs & 2 wickets in those! #PlayBold #RCBvKXIP pic.twitter.com/sLDnLRtlcf

Dinda himself did not keep away from the controversy either. He did not take any dig at the RCB for which he has played in the IPL but at the trolls. Sharing a picture of his bowling statistics on social media, the 35-year-old bowler gave back it in style.
Former India speedster Ashok Dinda is not playing in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019 but he has recently found his name floating in the tournament for wrong reasons. Dinda was known for leaking runs during his stint in the IPL (he played last in the tournament in 2017) as well as in international cricket which he had played between 2010 and 2013 and now, comparison with him became unavoidable when other bowlers started facing the batsman’s wrath.
Despite the explanation RCB still got trolled for mocking Dinda :
Yup, the previous tweet was in terrible taste, and that doesn’t depend on whom you were trolling.
What is more, if you put a 15-wicket cutoff, Dinda has the second-best T20I bowling average among Indians.
His outstanding Ranji Trophy record is probably not relevant here.
