Raiza became a household name in Tamil Nadu following her successful stint in the first season of reality Television show Bigg Boss, hosted by Kamal Haasan. The actress won praise for her matured performance in the romantic-drama Pyaar Prema Kaadhal, in which she acted along with her Bigg Boss housemate Harish Kalyan. She is one of a very few models who made it to big screen through Bigg Boss show.

For her cute expressions and innocent behaviour in the Bigg Boss show gained her face value among Tamil audience. The actress who now has a separate set of fan following is very much active on social media platforms, especially in Instagram and Twitter.

She usually posts her daily routines and pictures of herself in photoshoots in her Instagram and twitter accounts in which she enjoys more than 15 lakh followers.
