Dance choreographer cum actor and filmmaker Raghava Lawrence released the first two looks of his upcoming horror flick “Durga” on Internet on Friday evening and became a subject to online troll fest for making a blunder in one of the posters. Netizens who were running out of topics at the weekend to make memes, also found it comfortable enough to troll the second look of the upcoming film of Lawrence which is literally a selfie picture of the filmmaker himself.

Multifaceted Lawrence is known for his dancing skills, before rising to fame through his “Muni” or “Kanchana” franchise. The series of horror films he wrote, directed and performed gained him family audience and he, in fact, got an opportunity to direct Bollywood Super star Akshay Kumar in the Hindi remake of his “Kanchana” film. The busy artist is currently roped in for a project of Vettri Maaran, emerged reports. However, the filmmaker surprised his fans through the brand new posters and revealed that one of his next projects is “Durga”.

The first look poster showed Lawrence in a complete new avatar that he didn’t don in his previous horror flicks. He was seen sporting a flowing, white beard and could be seen starring at something that’s in front of him by wearing holy powders such as kumkum, Viboothi on his forehead. The rolled up eye balls severely suggests that the film belongs to horror genre as his previous successful ventures.

The second look showed the actor donning a completely different look with curly hair with laughter filling his face. The poster suggested that it could be the get up of the main lead who would get possessed by ghosts in his films usually. Here’s the second look :

Despite of the wishes and blessing he received from his fans and well wishers, many trolled the filmmaker for releasing a selfie picture as a poster. What caught the attention of the netizens the more is, the spelling error that was made in the first look poster of “Durga”. Instead of “Ragavendra productions”, the makers have written “Ragavandra Productions” which become a subject to online trolls and criticisms. The posters and typo made many to troll and one of the fans said that Lawrence is taking the audience for granted as his previous horror films effortlessly became box office successes.
