Priyanka Mohan who became the heartthrob of youngsters in a very short span of time, is going to share screen space with actors such as Dhanush and Jayam Ravi in her upcoming. Most lately, a report emerged saying that the 28 year old actress is all set to romance 51 year old Pawan Kalyan in his next film “They Call Him OG”.

DVV Entertainment, the production house of the film, made the announcement on Twitter, and Priyanka herself expressed her excitement on social media, saying, “Thrilled to be a part of the OG family! A power-packed entertainer is coming your way.”

This is not Priyanka’s first foray into Telugu cinema, having previously appeared in Nani’s Gang Leader and Sivakarthikeyan’s Don. In addition to OG, she is also set to appear in Dhanush’s Captain Miller and an as-yet-untitled film by Rajesh M Selva.

OG is directed by Sujeeth, known for his work on Saaho, and marks Pawan Kalyan’s third consecutive film likely to be a box office success. His previous two films, Vakeel Saab and Bheemla Nayak, were both remakes of popular films, with Vakeel Saab being a remake of Pink and Bheemla Nayak a remake of Ayyappanum Koshiyum.

Born on November 20, 1994, to a Tamilian father and a Kannadiga mother, Priyanka made her debut in the Kannada film industry with the movie Ondh Kathe Hella in 2019. The same year, she appeared in Nani’s Gang Leader, her first Telugu film. Priyanka was also set to star in the bilingual film Mayan, shooting for the English version. Unfortunately, the film faced delays. She landed her second lead female role in the Tamil film Etharkkum Thunindhavan, directed by Pandiraj and starring Suriya.
