Popular BJP Supporter Appreciated Natarajan By Mentioning A Caste Name !! Check Reactions

Entire Tamil nadu went gaga over Natarajan’s first International wicket against Australia in his debut match. Along with fans, cinema actors, political personalities and sports experts lauded the left hander’s performance in his debut match. From Actor Sivakarthikeyan posting a tweet appreciating him, even Tamil Chief minister Edappadi K Pazhaniswamy encouraged him.

Tamil nadu lad Natarajan made his One day international debut on Wednesday in the third match between Australia and India. He received his ODI cap from his captain Kohli and became one of the very few players from Tamil nadu to represent India. He also became 232nd player to represent team India.


The very third ball Nattu bowled went for a maximum. However, Nattu picked his first ever International wicket in the sixth over of the match. The man of Salem got the wicket of Australian opener Marnus Labuschange. He who tried to hit the ball towards the off side, got inside edge and the bails were off. The Chinnappampatti express looked up at the heavens and pumped his fists. This was the first time India took a wicket in powerplay overs since very long time.

As soon as Nattu opened his account in ODI, Tamil twitter couldn’t keep calm. Along with fans, tamil cinema celebrities started celebrating the 29 year old. Kishore K Swamy, a self proclaimed BJP supporter, posted a tweet saying that Natarajan from Vanniyar caste has picked his first wicket.

He also posted another tweet in the same manner.

This tweet from him got severely criticized as people didn’t want Nattu to be labelled with a caste. Check out some of the reactions the tweet received :


In this modern era where most of the youngsters believes that Casteism does not exist, we can still see the people embracing casteism which is evident through the above tweet of Kishore. It is high time for them to realize that being born in a particular caste alone won’t provide pride to an individual.
