Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has visited the United States Of America. Since the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak, this is his first trip outside of the neighborhood. He has gone to the United States for attending the QUAD summit for the first time in person. He is also giving an address at UN General Assembly. Modi arrived today Morning in Washington DC. Indian Americans assembled to welcome the Indian Prime Minister. He was received at the airport by the senior officials of Biden’s administration and India’s Ambassador to the United States, Taranjith Singh.

In this visit, Narendra Modi will be taking part in the QUAD summit with President Biden, Prime Minister Scott Morrison of Australia, and Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga of Japan. He attended the summit to discuss the outcomes of the virtual meeting held in March 2021, as well as to enhance the strategic alliance with the United States and strengthen connections with Australia and Japan.

Modi will then engage in a conversation with President Joe Biden on 24th September. The Afghan crisis and its ramifications, China’s growing assertiveness, strategies to combat radicalism and cross-border terrorism, and the growth of the India-US global partnership are set to be at the forefront of PM Modi and President Biden’s meeting. He will be Vice President, Kamala Harris.
