Meanwhile controversial actress Meera Mitun who has been icon-bashing the actor since very long time, criticized his activity of planting the tree and said that he needs to plant trees outside his home for greener India. She asked Vijay to learn from actor Vivekh who is involved in planting trees across the state. As of June 2019, Vivekh planted 10,000 saplings, launched Green Kalam project, aim of which is to plant 10 lakh saplings across the state.

Tagging his original official account, Meera Mitun wrote “Planting a sapling in your villa is not a social concern, learn from Vivekh how, where to plant saplings” she write in her tweet.

On seeing this tweet from the actress, Vivekh posted a tweet saying that it is not the right time to compare each other as Vijay and Mahesh Babu’s act of planting sapling would inspire billions of their fans.
