In the beach of Mahabalipuram, Chengalpattu, a sand sculpture of 160 feet tall was built for Tamil nadu cheif minister Edappadi K Pazhaniswamy. Pictures of the sculpture which was build near a temple, are doing rounds in the social media platforms. The sculpture was unveiled by Minister Pandiarajan and Sellur K Raju.
The sculpture took 10 long days, 50 sand sculptors and 50 tons of sand to be made. Organised by the ADMK members of Thirukazhukundram, The sculptor was designed by students of the College of Sculpture. The grand sand sculpture which is set for one week exhibition, is placed near the sand sculptures of late chief minister J. Jayalalitha and deputy chief minister O Panneer selvam for the public people to see.
The sand sculpture of chief minister Edappadi K Pazhaniswamy shows the slogan “Vettrinadai podum Thamizhagam” and also consists the texture “Edappadiyaar 2021” in it.
