First single of Director Parthiban’s “Iravin Nizhal” composed by A. R Rahman released with the maker arranging a huge event. The “Oscar” winning musician took part in the event and the filmmaker invited guests, audience, press for the event. An unaccepted incident occured in the event as the filmmaker happened to throw his mic at Robo Shankar, a famous actor who was hosting the show. The filmmaker understood his mistake and apologized for losing his cool.

Apart from acting in films, Parthiban has also been busy with his film, Iravin Nizhal. The film’s first song launched May 1 at a grand event in Chetpet, Chennai. At the event, Rahman and Parthiban were conversing with each other. Parthiban asked Rahman what kind of introduction would make the song look good and the musician replied “people are waiting for a long time already, lets play the song”

After that, Parthiban gestured the technicians to initiate playing the song and Robo Shankar who was about to announce the release of the song by giving it an introduction, said that need a microphone to make the announcement.

Losing his cool, Parthiban threw the microphone at Robo Shankar saying “you should have asked this before”. This behaviour from the seasoned filmmaker left audience and AR Rahman in a shocked state.

However, Robo Shankar, popular actor who is known sharing screen space with Dhanush and other top actors continued to announce the song’s name with a reluctant voice.

Later, while delivering his speech, Rahman apologized for his act and said that he was under lot of pressure after the sleepless nights for the making of “iravin nizhal”. The filmmaker said that the weight of the artificial music logo which was lifted by himself and Rahman for photograph, caused him great pain due to it’s overweight and also added that he couldn’t scream well at that time.

Iravin Nizhal is touted to be world’s first ever non-linear single shot film and Parthiban has directed and acted in it.
