Radhakrishnan Parthiban is very much upset since yesterday as Vikatan didn’t consider his movie in any of the categories in its award function. . one of the most experimental filmmakers of all time. Known for his uniqueness, the director always interested in making films which are progressive. The man who amused Tamil cinema audience with his creations, recently came up with an unique film which revolves around only a single man.

Oththa Seruppu Size 7 is the one-man cinema, which revolves around a murder mystery. Parthiban, the multi-faceted talent of Tamil cinema, has written and directed the film, as well as essay the only acting role. Oththa Seruppu Size 7 has garnered the attention of cinema fanatics much before its release, due to its unique theme.

As the film completed its theatrical run, now released in popular online platform Netflix. Many people who watched the film in the streaming platform lauded it and regretted for missing the film to watch in big screen. Few even wished to pay the actor their ticket money as a sign of appreciation it seems.

As his movie is being lauded by the people who watched it, the filmmaker also received awards for it in various award functions. On seeing his film not getting considered in any category in Vikatan awards 2019, Parthiban has made an important announcement from his social media accounts.

The filmmaker wrote a tweet by adding a video of his speech in the stage of Vikatan awards. In his tweet Parthiban said that he got 2 national awards till and his OS7 is in the list of Oscar’s eligible list but it took no place in the list of Vikatan awards. The director also made in clear that he is not going to receive any award from Vikatan in future.
