Oththa Seruppu Size 7 is the one-man cinema, which revolves around a murder mystery. Parthiban, the multi-faceted talent of Tamil cinema, has written and directed the film, as well as essay the only acting role. Oththa Seruppu Size 7 has garnered the attention of cinema fanatics much before its release, due to its unique theme.

As the film completed its theatrical run, now released in popular online platform Netflix. Many people who watched the film in the streaming platform lauded it and regretted for missing the film to watch in big screen. Though the filmmaker stated that the money he proposes is for social cause, this tweet of him doesn’t go well with few of his followers as they felt that they are already paying subscription fees for Netflix monthly to watch the films it streams.
