Parthiban Deleted His “Creative” Tweet After Receiving Trolls & Criticisms !!

Actor and Director Parthiban who is known for the films he made in Tamil film industry, loves to play with words and is enjoying a separate fan base for the way he phrases his sentences in public events and in his films. However, this time it didn’t go well with fans as the filmmaker tried to do something unique while posting a “Rest in Peace” tweet for the legendary actor Dilip Kumar. Parthiban tried to add “RIP” within Dilip Kumar’s name to post his condolence tweet and fans found it insensitive as the members of his family, his fans the entire Indian film industry is mourning for the loss.

Legendary actor Dilip kumar died in the morning of Wednesday after prolonged illness and the entire film fraternity came up with tweets offering their condolences to the family members of him. They also lauded the ace actor’s works in the film industry and expressed their admirations towards him.
Dilip Kumar who was 98 years old while dying, known to generations of film-goers as ‘tragedy king’. He was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of the Hinduja Hospital, a non-COVID-19 facility, since Tuesday. “He passed away due to prolonged illness at 7.30 am,” Dr Jalil Parkar, who had been treating the actor, said according to reports.

Dilip Kumar’s family friend Faisal Farooqui took to the official twitter handle of the actor and announced about the demise by writing “With a heavy heart and profound grief, I announce the passing away of our beloved Dilip Saab, few minutes ago. We are from God and to Him we return. – Faisal Farooqui”

From Prime minister Narendra Modi to Bollywood Superstar Amitabh, Tamil ace actor Kamal Haasan, Chiranjeevi from telugu film industry and many other seasoned celebrities from across the country paid their last respects to Dilip kumar by penning a heartfelt note through their official twitter handles. Meanwhile, Tamil actor and director Parthiban came up with a tweet writing “diRIP kumar !” to express his condolence. The filmmaker seems to have deleted his tweet now but the screen shot of it is going viral in social media platforms with the users of it criticising him.

Many of his own followers in twitter found his tweet inappropriate and trolls started flooding the comment section of the filmmaker’s post. Few genuinely expressed their displeasure as well. “Sir I’m a huge fan of your wordplay. But it seems wrong to use it in a condolence post” a twitter user replied whereas another one said “It doesn’t look RIP.. it looks mocking.. Delete and post a RIP messages if u really intended to express..”
