In a recent candid interview, Palak Tiwari, daughter of renowned TV actor Shweta Tiwari and Raja Choudhary, spoke about her tumultuous teen years and her journey into the world of entertainment. The young starlet, who made her screen debut with Harrdy Sandhu’s music video “Bijlee Bijlee,” has now ventured into Bollywood with Salman Khan’s film “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.”

Reflecting on her teenage days, Palak shared how her mother, the winner of Salman Khan’s TV reality show Bigg Boss in 2010 and known for her iconic role in “Kasautii Zindagii Kay,” would often worry about her. She confessed to having a penchant for telling lies during her adolescence, but fate always had a way of catching up to her. Palak humorously recalled how her mother would reprimand her for lying, saying, “You get caught in two hours.”

One particular incident Palak reminisced about was her attempt to sneak out to the mall with a boyfriend when she was around 15 or 16 years old. Trying to be sly, she informed her mom that she was going downstairs to play hide-and-seek. However, Shweta Tiwari, despite being out of town, swiftly discovered the truth and found her daughter at the mall. This led to a stern and concerned reaction from her mother. Palak humorously revealed that her mom’s response was often to jokingly threaten her by saying, “Main tujhe gao bhej dungi, main tera baal katwa dungi” (I’ll send you to our village, I’ll cut your hair). Palak even shared a curious anecdote about her mom cutting her hair during her childhood, believing that it would make her less attractive and deter potential suitors.

Stepping into the entertainment industry, Palak made her Bollywood debut with the movie “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan,” which also marked the Bollywood entry of Shehnaaz Gill. The film, directed by Farhad Samji, boasted an ensemble cast featuring Pooja Hegde, Venkatesh Daggubati, Bhumika Chawla, Jagapathi Babu, Siddharth Nigam, Raghav Juyal, Vijender Singh, and Jassie Gill. Embracing her talent and working alongside seasoned actors, Palak left a lasting impression with her performance.
