India and Pakistan, two arch-rivals met each other for the second time in the ongoing Asia cup tournament. Winning the toss, Baba Azam asked team India to bat first and the Rohit Sharma led team managed to put 182 runs in the score board at the end of the first innings.
Though they didn’t get a good start, Nawaz’s 20 ball 42 and Rizwan’s 41 ball 71 helped the green team to get going. While India was having the momentum going towards the final overs, youngster Arshdeep dropped a simple catch of Asif Ali which could have sent him back to the pavilion. That came back to haunt India as Asif Ali made sure his team registered the victory with a ball to spare.
Arshdeep became a victim of severe online troll for dropping a sitter. However, players such as Irfan Pathan, Harbhajan singh who represented India in the past came in to defend him. In the meantime, former Pakistan player Mohammad Hafeez uploaded a tweet in his official twitter handle, saying “My request to all Indian team fans. In sports we make mistakes as we r human. Please don’t humiliate anyone on these mistakes” and tagged Arshdeep in his tweet.

My simple request to you.
Don’t comment on our Indian team. It’s none of your business.
Next time tell your winning record against India.

All cricketers get criticized at some point or other during their careers. Yesterday just wasn’t his day.
Stop the attempts to slice and separate Indians with your fake a malicious tirade. @arshdeepsinghh is and will always be one amongst us Indians. https://t.co/3AN2V4704P
