A particular clipping of a scene from a famous Sun TV serial named “Roja” is trending in the micro blogging social media platform with online users trolling it without mercy. Many couldn’t grasp what the makers conceived in the name of “Instant prosthetic make up” or “on spot plastic surgery” or God knows what. On seeing a woman lying on highways, many thought that the serial makers are giving tribute to the opening scene of Maari Selvaraj’s “Karnan” movie. However, it turned out as one of the most hilarious scenes in the Televison serial history.

“Roja” which is being telecasted in Sun TV for more than three years, has Priyanka Nalkari and Sibbu Suryan in the lead roles. 1000 plus episodes were made for the serial which has a separate fan base among the women of Tamil society. The serial’s plot revolves around Roja, a girl who was raised in an orphanage meeting an advocate to win a case against a fake murder case that was imposed on the orphanage owner.

Being one of the successful serials of Sun Television, “Roja” enjoys a huge viewership. However, a particular clip from the serial became a subject to severe online trolls and criticisms. The scene shows a woman lying on a highway road in an unconscious state with blood leaking from her neck.

When the heroine of the serial and others are puzzled, a woman comes with an artificial face mask and applies it to the face of woman who is lying on the road. All of a sudden, the woman’s face changes into Roja’s. It is not clear whether the makers are portraying it as a prosthetic make up or plastic  surgery.

Reacting to the video, many of the online users trolled the makers saying that what they did was unforgivable. A number of users also said that the makers of “Roja” are taking their audience for granted. Check out some of the reactions below :
