Official Police Handle’s Savage Reply To A Netizen !!

A savage reply provided by the official twitter handle of Punjab Police is trending in social media platforms with hilarious reactions. In the post, Punjab Police replied to a twitter user who said that a husband of a woman whom he messaged attacked him for sending her “I like you”. Replying to the tweet, Punjab Police said that he is subjected to a legal punishment and asked him to approach a local police station to get punished.
In India, Police department of every state work every day to make their social media game strong. Besides issuing safety advisories, traffic updates and notices, the official Police twitter handles also hears complaints, addresses grievances and even takes tip offs from netizens about crimes and other issues.
While Tamil nadu, Mumbai, Delhi Police handles keeps up with the latest trends and shares memes and jokes to spread awareness about safety and security, the Police departments of Punjab, Assam and Rajasthan are also pretty much quick in responding to their online followers in a quirky way.
Most of their replies to the strange requests were gone viral in social media platforms in several occasions. The Police of Punjab has joined the race of quirky replies by replying to a man who claimed that he got beaten up by a man after sending “I like you” to his wife.
The user wanted the help of Punjab Police as he is worried about his own safety after the incident. In the tweet which was deleted now, the user named Sushanth Duttt said “”Sir I send “I Like u” message to someone, her husband came and beaten me badly yesterday night, even I apologize again and again. But now I m worried about by Safety, plz do the needful, plz help and Safe my life, Today they might be attack again: #PS D-Division Amritsar.”
In their reply, Punjab police said “Not sure what you were expecting on your unwarranted message to a woman, but they should not have beaten you up. They should have reported you to us and we would have served you right under right sections of law. Both these offences will be duly taken care of as per law!”

This has to be investigated and if the woman isn’t interested in this conversation and he is voluntarily initiating this conversation then this will become an offence. If the woman is also involved in this like you affair then I dont think the man here has done anything wrong.
