Nivetha Pethuraj Lashed Out At Swiggy & Moonlight Takeaway After Finding Cockroach In Her Food

Tamil actress Nivetha Pethuraj who is known among Tamil audience for acting in films such as “Oru Naal Koothu”, “Tik Tik Tik”, “Sanga Tamizhan” came up with a tweet on Wednesday, complaining about a food package she received from Moonlight Takeaway, OMR through Swiggy online delivery application. The actress, through her official twitter account, wondered what standards Swiggy and restaurants are maintaining nowadays.
If you live alone or just can’t cook edible food, then there is only one solution that most people who deal with this resort to – ordering online. In such situations, most of us will prefer ordering in Swiggy as it is one of the most famous food delivering app. The Online food delivering app works by employing people to deliver food from the hotels and restaurants to the people who placed order from home or office.
With the emergence of online food delivery apps, complaints from people who find strange creatures, objects in the food they are receiving are also started surfacing in social media platforms. Now, a complaint was mad by one of the active heroines of South Indian film industry and it started garnering attention from the Netizens.
Uploading the picture of the food she received, Nivetha mentioned about the Cockroach she found in it and expressed her displeasure over Swiggy and Moonlight Takeaway restaurant. To our shock, the actress said that she found cockroach twice lately in her food. She wants the restaurants to be inspected on a regular basis and demanded appropriate punishments for them if they fail to maintain the standard.

Replying to this post of the actress, Swiggy wrote “Hey Nivetha, we are equally appalled by this breach in quality. We request you to share the order ID with us, so that we may take this up on priority with the concerned restaurant. Please be assured that we have doubled our periodic quality”
