Nelson’s video goes viral since the “Vikatan” controversy is garnering attention. Recently Vikatan conducted Aanandha Vikatan Cinema Awards 2023, in which Director Nelson was ill-treated when compared to other directors who visited the award show.

Eventually, Lokesh Kanagaraj, the filmmaker renowned for his work in Tamil cinema, including movies like “Vikram” featuring Kamal Haasan and “Master” with Vijay, made an appearance at an award ceremony organized by Vikatan Magazine. Among the attendees was director Nelson Dilipkumar. Fans on various internet platforms are drawing comparisons between the two directors based on their red-carpet entrances at the event.

Based on the comparisons made by online users, it appears that they are quite unhappy with the way the organizers of the event treated both filmmakers. Some users shared two videos and expressed disappointment that Nelson Dilipkumar was left alone while Lokesh Kanagaraj was treated differently.

Nelson Dilipkumar has faced harsh criticism since directing “Beast” with Thalapathy Vijay, whom he has admired for a long time. Meanwhile, Lokesh Kanagaraj is enjoying the success of “Vikram,” one of the biggest hits in the history of the Kollywood film industry. A video that went viral shows bouncers and event organizers accompanying Lokesh Kanagaraj all the way to the end of the red carpet, providing him with protection while numerous cameras captured him for an extended period.

In the same event, Director Nelson Dilipkumar who is currently directing Superstar Rajinikanth for his upcoming film “Jailer”, made his entry with a limited reception from the show runners. To our shock, the filmmaker was shown a direction by one of the event organizers and could be seen being asked to keep walking towards that direction by himself. Bouncers who accompanied him for a little distance, could be seen leaving him and the director walked with Redin Kingsley towards the function.

In the video, which is trending now, Director Nelson stated that situations like this will always happen in Cinema Industry and it is the duty of every individual to accept and work further in accomplishing your dreams. Also he said when someone gets outdated , another person gets to replace his position and vice versa. this is the unwritten rule of the film industry. And having a positive mindset will be the best solution to move further in everyone’s carreer.

Nelson Dilipkumar debuted through a film named “Kolamavu Kokila” in which he directed Lady Superstar Nayanthara. He went on to make a film titled “Doctor” which became a commercial success. However, his third film “Beast” didn’t go as expected as a result of which he received criticisms from fans and critics. Now, he is currently busy directing Superstar Rajinikanth in his “Jailer”in which Sivakarthikeyan is  expected to make a cameo. Fans of Superstar Rajinikanth and Nelson Dilipkumar are eagerly waiting for the come back of them as both of their previous films disappointed fans.
