“Naam Tamizhar” Seeman To Direct This Top Trending Actor ?? Watch Video !!

It looks like politics is the flavor of the season in south Indian cinema. Followed by Pa. Ranjith’s Kaala with Superstar, Director Venkat Prabhu has also turned to politics for his next film that will star Simbu in the lead role. Now to our surprise Simbu also going to feature in a social drama film directed by “Naam Tamizhar” chief coordinator Seeman.

Seemanis a Tamil politician and the chief-coordinator of the political party, Naam Tamilar Katchi in Tamilnadu. He is an ardent campaigner for the self determination of the Sri Lankan Tamil people and the LiberationTigers of Tamil Eelam and its leader Velupillai Prabhakaran. He is an advocate of the rule of Tamils in their homeland, Tamil Nadu and to spread the importance of Tamil language, only by which unity of Tamil people is possible. Prior to his involvement in politics, Seeman has worked as a filmmaker and actor.

Recently the trailer of Seeman’s “Thavam” released. Thavam is an upcoming Tamil movie featuring Senthamizhan Seeman, Vasi Asif and Pooja Shree in lead roles. It is produced by Vasi Asif under his banner named Ashif Film International.

Music is composed by Srikanth Deva for this movie directed by R Vijay Anand and AR Suriyan. Thavam also stars Singam Pulli, Black Pandi, Bose Venkat, Santhana Barathi and Cool Suresh among others.

Now the director, in an recent interview revealed that his next project is with Silambarasan aka Str who is really busy and has “Vantha Raja va Thaan Varuven” lined up for release. Notably Simbu called Seeman as “Annan” (brother) in his interviews and speeches.

“Most of the heroes were frightened to do film with me in the past and I had no time for directing film due to my hectic schedule but now I am decided to do film with Silambarasan” said Seeman in a recent interaction with Suryan fm. The director has said that it will be a political film, relevant to the current scenario.

The director was earlier in talks for a film with Vijay. In this interview, the chief-coordinator of Naam Tamilar Katchi said that the film with Vijay was “well-discussed” but for various reasons, had to be shelved. He also shared about his upcoming movie “Thavam” and his disappointments about current generation youngsters. Watch the full video here :
