The first look of Vishal’s debut directorial Thupparivalan 2 is going to get release on the evening of Wednesday. The film which was supposed to be directed by Mysskin, is a sequel of 2017 blockbuster film Thupparivalan in which Vishal and Prasanna played the lead roles. Several media portals reported that the demands of director Mysskin to Vishal Film Factory is the reason behind the rift between the duo. Vishal film factory is the movie production house of Vishal himself which was established in the year 2013. Now the demands made by Mysskin got leaked in online which is doing rounds in social media platforms.

In the list of demands, we can see the filmmaker demanding Rs.5 crores as his salary excluding GST. The notice further says that the producer doesn’t have any authority to sell the remake rights of the film as it belongs to filmmaker. “Director can sell the remake rights to anybody and that Producer will not have any objection on that” said one of the conditions.

Mysskin required Vishal Film Factory not to contact him directly and suggested to convey message to him through Director’s manager Mr. L.V Shrikanth Lakshman. The “Psycho” director, through the notice said that he will finalise the shooting locations and said that the producer has no say in this.

He also required the Vishal’s film factory to pay office rent of Rs.66,000 with maintenance of Rs.5,000. “All communications should be through mail. Should the director be infringed in his creative freedom, creative decision, modus operandi or should the director or his staff be insulted, abused, threatened, ill-treated or anything that might disturb director’s psychology, the director and his staff shall abandon the project then and there as and when such incident occur” the notice of terms and conditions of Mysskin read.

“Disagreement of any of the above points from the producer will render director to force his services his services to Vishal film factory with respect to Thupparivalan 2” it said with a signature of the filmmaker. Several media portals including popular movie tracker Ramesh Bala are circulating these pictures of Mysskin’s terms and conditions.

Meanwhile, Vishal Film Factory has officially announced that the first look of Thupparivalan 2 is going to be released by Wednesday.

Mysskin is one of the prominent filmmakers of Tamil film industry right now. Influenced by seasoned filmmakers such as Akira Kurasowa and Alfred Hitchcock, Mysskin is known for his unique way of storytelling unlike other filmmakers of his era. He debuted to Tamil film industry through “Chithiram Pesuthadi” which became a blockbuster.

On the other hand, Vishal entered film industry as an assistant director through Arjun’s Ezhumalai. Both Mysskin and Vishal are known for their thick friendship. They praised each other in several events which made netizens to shock on seeing the rift between them.
