Director Mysskin, after watching the film “Kadaisi Vivasayi”, released a video in his official youtube channel, saying that it is the most perfect films he watched ever. The filmmaker who made critically acclaimed films such as “Onaayum Aatukuttiyum”, “Anjaathe” said that his films are nothing in front what “Kaaka Muttai” fame Manikandan made. He highly recommended the film to the movie goers of Tamil society and requested them to make the film a blockbuster for the sake of Tamil cinema’s growth.

“Kadaisi Vivaysai” was released in theatres across Tamil nadu on 11th of February. The film garnered positive review from critics and audience who watched it. Starring Nallandi, Vijay Sethupathi and Yogi babu in pivotal roles, the film’s plot revolves around an 85 year old man who intends to do farming even after all the people of his village gave it up.

In his video, Mysskin said that the film would have received 20 Oscars if Nallandi was replaced by Clint Eastwood and also said that he saw the Hollywood Superstar in Nallandi. He uploaded a video while driving car to his home from theatre as he didn’t want his emotions about the film to be diluted after reaching home. The filmmaker also said that he scolded his assistant director as a “fool” because he said that the film was a bit slow.

“I would recommend my daughter to watch the film. I would ask her to reconsider her decision about getting settled in Canada. It is a simple film and also a strongest one. I have met Manikandan only twice. I would say that this is the best film that ever got released in 100 years of Tamil cinema. Among the all the films that were made including my 10 films, this is the best one” the filmmaker said.

“Mysskin requested people to watch the film with their family. When I asked my assistant how was the film, he said that it was a bit slow and I called him a “fool”. If we don’tt celebratte the film and Manikandan who made it, it means that we lost our spirituality. As a filmmaker, I could feel that Manikandan tried to keep things simple. Everyone would say that Mysskin is a filmmaker who tell story visually, nothing like that. Manikandan did it 100 times better than me” Mysskin said who recommended the film to all the aspiring filmmakers.

Mysskin also lauded Vijay Sethupathi for the role he played in the film. “I would say that there no single mistake in this film and I would kiss the feet of every technician of this movie” Mysskin raved about “Kadaisi Vivayasai”.
