Mohan G of “Draupathy” fame, on Friday, came up with a tweet demanding the arrest of youtubers Gurubaai and Sarvs Sagha after PUBG Madan got arrested by Chennai Police. He wanted them to get arrested for making derogatory comments against cinema artists in the name of film review. The filmmaker said that he is waiting to hear some good news about their arrest. Plip Plip reviewed Mohan G’s “Draupathi” in their youtube channel and the video has garnered 1 million plus views so far.

“Why you are going to arrest these Plip Plip intellectuals officers ? In the pretext of reviewing films, they have abused many cinema artists by using bad words. Waiting for some good news” said Mohan G through his tweet by uploading a screen grab from one of their videos. “இந்த Plip Plip அறிவாளிகளை எப்ப கைது பண்ணுவீங்க ஆபீசர்ஸ்.. சினிமா விமர்சனம் என்ற பெயரில் அத்தனை சினிமா கலைஞர்கள்களையும் கேவலமான கெட்ட வார்த்தையால் பேசி இருக்கானுங்க.. Madan Manickam who is popularly known as “Toxic” Madan or Madan OP, got arrested by a special team of police at Dharmapuri at the wee hours of Friday. He was hiding at the residence of one of his friends, says the reports. He was accused of degrading women through his youtube videos by using obscene language. Arrest of youtuber Madan caused a debate in the Internet with people raising complaints against many other youtube content creators for making videos that disturbs public. Director Mohan G who gained widespread fame through his “Draupathi” film announced about his next film recently. Draupathy film released in theatres on 28th of February and received severe criticism from netizens. The film which had actor Richard in the lead role became a subject to controversy, believed to be portrayed against a particular community and had faced online trolls.
