After the success of first two singles, makers of Dhanush starrer “Karnan” announced the release date of the third single ‘Draupathiyin Muttham’ (The Kiss of Draupathy). As soon as the single released, reactions from a set of fans surfaced saying that it is a deliberate reference to a film made by director Mohan titled “Draupathy”. Now, Mohan G himself came up with an indirect tweet to the makers of “Draupathiyin Mutham”.

“Pariyerum Perumal” fame Maari Selvaraj’s next venture “Karnan” starring Dhanush is nearing its theatrical release as the makers have started releasing the singles. Teaser of the film is expected soon as actor Dhanush uploaded a tweet on March 4 saying “#Karnan teaser .. very soon”

The film is scheduled to release in theatres during April 9 in theatres and the production house confirmed the same through an official press release. Maari selvaraj who impressed the critics and audience of Tamil cinema through his debut film “Pariyarum Perumal”, has already increased enough anticipation among the fans through the first two singles.

Now, announcing about the third single, the filmmaker wrote “Paadal -3’Draupathaiyin Muttham’ With immense delight,we bring you the third song from #Karnan on March11.The Kiss of Draupathai.” in his tweet.

The title of the song created huge debate among two sector of fans. A number of people to a particular caste already started raising voice against the title of the song saying that it is a name of a Goddess and highly believe that it would cause an outrage among two communities.

Mohan G, director of “Draupathi” film uploaded a tweet in his official twitter account saying that people would live their life according to their thoughts. “Thoughts of an individual would reflect in their activities. There is no purity and impurity for fire. It is applied to the mother of fire as well. No one could pollute her. She will take care of you” he said in his tweet.
