Hashtag “MenToo” is trending in the micro blogging social media site on the special day which marks international men’s day. The tweets that surfaced under the hashtag shows how men are facing unfair treatment, sufferings, harassment and injustice on day to day basis.
It is notable that the “Men Too” movement initiated in India to fight against the false allegations that are made in the Me Too movement. As we all know, Me Too is a global social movement that gave victims a voice against sexual harassment, rape culture and abuse. Hundreds of women recounted their ordeals and named the perpetrators during the movement.
So far, 10,000 tweets were posted under the hashtag in Twitter. “My gold digger wife already ruined my life !! She wants to enrich her family and brother by extorting money from me !!!” a social media user said whereas another one wrote “Support men’s mental health too” by sharing a news on Marital stress leading more suicides of men.

1. Women can be criminals.
2. Society, judiciary, police, media can do anything to protect her honor even if she is a criminal.
3. Blame is always on men.
4. Every year lakhs of men die due to false rape and matrimonial cases but no remorse.#MenToo
