During the late hours of Monday, top social media platforms went down as a technical failure disrupted their service. However, the most famous micro blogging social media site Twitter is working without interruption as a result of which several memes and posts are flooding the feed. Clarification tweets from the official twitter handles of Instagram and Whatsapp surfaced but only to get trolled by the agitated netizens.

A suspected global outage seemingly interrupted the services of top social media platforms owned by American Internet Giant Face book. Millions of users complained that the fresh messages were not being loaded and user feed disrupted. “Sorry something went wrong. We are working on it and we will get it fixed as soon as we can” read a message displayed on Face book website. “We’re aware that some people are having trouble accessing our apps and products. We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience.” Face book’s tweet said.
