Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer 2.0 continues its glorious run at the box office not just in India but around the world as well. Since it opened in theatres around the world on November 29, the Shankar directorial is on a record-breaking spree making big money across the world.
Rajinikanth starrer 2.0 has had a smashing opening weekend. The film has earned Rs 400 crore worldwide. It has surpassed Fantastic Beasts, which slipped to the second position with 51.40 million dollar collection.
The box office numbers were shared by the production house of the film itself with a terrific poster. In their tweet they mentioned “History in the making! 400 CRORES WORLDWIDE! Not just a blockbuster, it’s a MEGA BLOCKBUSTER!

S Shankar’s directorial is the sequel to 2010’s Enthiran (Robot). Rajinikanth plays the roles of Dr Vaseegaran and Chitti in this movie. In 2.0, Chitti is brought back to life by Dr Vaseegaran to fight Pakshirajan, played by Akshay Kumar. 2.0 also stars Sudhanshu Panday, Adil Hussain and Amy Jackson.
Aishwarya Rai, the former Miss World, starred opposite Rajinikanth in the first part. When Shankar was asked whether Aishwarya Rai is a part of 2.0, the director earlier said “Aishwarya Rai is indeed a part of the script, but she doesn’t have a visual presence. There are multiple references to her character Sana, but she is not acting in 2.0.”
Now the film has been released we could see Aishwarya Rai talking to Vaseegaran through phone call. The phone call scene bewteen Vaseegaran and Sana took place in the film number of times including the final scene of the movie.
Now the one who has given voice to the name Sana in 2.0 was revealed. Savitha Reddy, the voice artist who has been giving voice to Aishwarya Rai since the movie Jeans (1998) has appeared in an interview with Indiaglitz.
In the interview, Savitha shares many experience of her throughout her career. She also lending her voice to Simran for upcoming Petta. According to the interview, it seems she had given her voice to half of the heroines who belongs to Tamil industry.
