Video of a man repeatedly slapping security guards after getting stuck in lift is going viral in social media platforms. After the users of online called him out for his inhumane behaviour, he was booked under relevant sections. Arrogant gesture of the man disturbed public who slammed him saying that it is how elite mentality works.

The man has been identified as Varun nath. Around 7 AM of Monday, he got stuck in the life and as soon as getting out of it, he started slapping the security guard and the lift operator repeatedly. The incident took place in Gurugram and he was briefly stuck in a lift in the Close North Apartments in Sector 50 of the city.

“I helped him get out of the lift within 3-4 minutes. As soon as he got out, he started beating me up. Ashok Kumar, the guard said to the media portals. He also threatened to kill Kuma and the lift operator. Reports suggested that Nath got arrested by the police officials.

Moments later the incident took place, the security guards assembled and held a protest at the gate of the housing society. A police team led by Inspector Rajesh Kumar, Station house officer of Sector 50 police station, reached the spot and Kumar lodged a complaint against Varun Nath.

As soon as the CCTV footage surfaced in internet, users of online platforms started condemning the actions of the man. “When flat owners suffer from this notion that they have colonised the poor. Bashing up a lift man- who actually rescued him. The criminal levels of privilege. After Noida, now in Gurugram” said a journalist whereas another online user wrote “Share this video and make this man famous. This country’s elite class is rotting rapidly”
