Makers Of This Highly Anticipated Film Officially Announced About Their Postpone Due To Vikram!!

Reports on Kamal Haasan starring “Vikram” conducting a rampage at the box office are keeps surfacing in the internet. In a way of confirming the same, makers of Arun Vijay’s “Yaanai” directed by seasoned filmmaker Hari which was scheduled to release on 17th of June, has officially announced that they are postponing the release date of their film on 1st of July.
According to a number of reports that surfaced on Monday, Vikram has joined the elite 300 crore club due to it’s packed weekend run in the second week since it’s release. “Vikram” which released on 3rd of June with much expectations among fans, has exceeded the anticipations. The film, reportedly collected Rs. 300 crores world wide on the second weekend of it’s theatrical run, according to reports. Plot of the film revolves around former militant Vikram accomplishing a mission to destroy the drugs that has potential to ruin the society.
In an earlier interview that was conducted for the promotion of “Yaanai”, director Hari and actor Arun Vijay said that the success of “Vikram” is a proud moment for them as a members of Tamil film industry. Hari of “Singam”, “Saami” fame said that many questioned him about the success of other language films since the start of this year and he was longing for a Tamil film to get a huge success to make them shut. The filmmaker said that he personally called Lokesh Kanagaraj and wished him.
“We are actually celebrating the success of “Vikram”. Yesterday, I called Lokesh Kanagaraj and said to him that I don’t know where he was at but I am celebrating the victory of him in every place I visit. He asked me to mention it us “our” victory. Tamil film industry needed such victory” Director Hari said in the press meet.
“All the films of other languages were doing well in theatres and I was thinking that it would be good of a Tamil films becomes a huge success. Because many people came to me asking why Tamil can’t do such huge success and whether Tamil films could pull off such films” said Hari in the interview.

“I would answer them saying that Tamil film industry is better in giving commercial hits as well as films with strong storylines” Hari said and expressed his happiness over the success of Vikram. Arun Vijay, on the other hand, said that “Vikram” made him to feel proud in front of other language Film industries.

Now, the production house Drumstick productions came up with a post in their twitter timeline, announcing that they have decided to postpone their film due to the successful run of “Vikram”.
