Magician Raman Sharma who worked for Vijay’s triple action flick “Mersal”, got upset on seeing a social media post uploaded by Hema Rukmani on the third year year anniversary of “Mersal”. He who has been constantly complaining against the production house for not paying a certain amount for working in the film, said that the celebration posts of the producer bothers him.
According to some reports, Director Atlee’s Mersal was a magnum opus that fetched over Rs 200 crore at the box office. The film, which had Vijay in three different looks, spoke about corruption in the medical field. The film courted controversy for criticising Demonetisation and GST.
On October 18, the film celebrated the third year anniversary and producer Hema Rukmani posted a picture in her official Instagram account and thanked Vijay’s fans from Kerala who sent her a frame of the film’s poster as a part of the celebration. “This is a beautiful framed picture carefully packaged and sent all the way from kerala to us, by the team of @mbkofficial_kerala. I thank every fan club and fan for including us in their celebration of our Thalapathy and Mersal, yet again.” Her post read.

On seeing this post, Raman who earlier reported that the production house owe him a sum of Rs.4 lakh for working in the film, said that these kind of posts bothers him. “Producers of this movie are still celebrating the “success” of a movie that left them broke and without an office? That left many workers unpaid? But still just to remain relevant they have to shove this in our faces?” he questioned in his tweet.
