Madurai Muthu Countered Vijay Antony’s Statement About “Vadakkans” !!

Madurai Muthu, a popular comedian who worked for leading satellite channels such as Sun television, Vijay Television, countered a tweet uploaded by music director cum actor and producer Vijay Antony. On Sunday, The “Nan” actor came up with a tweet in his official twitter timeline, saying that no matter where a man comes from, he is also a poor guy who wants to save his family. He added famous Tamil saying “Yaadhum Oorey Yavarum Kelir” which is roughly translated as “Everywhere is our place and Everyone is our guest”.
Madurai Muthu who got emotional and released a video when a group of North Indian workers attacked Tamil workers in Tiruppur, questioned Vijay Antony why people from a different state restricted the release of actor Vijay’s film. A couple of weeks ago, a video that shows a group of north Indian youths chasing Tamil nadu youth over verbal dispute went viral in social media platforms. They started involving in an argument while smoking cigarettes at a tea shop.

A viral video which showed hundreds of north Indian youths chasing a guy from Tamilnadu and beating his associates with belts, tree branches made sensation all over the Tamil media. Reacting to the incident, famous stand up comedian “Madurai” Muthu uploaded a video in his official Instagram handle, calling out the north Indian youths. He also expressed his dejection over Tamil youths being careless and vulnerable to the attacks of Hindi speaking individuals.
“இந்நிலை தொடர்ந்தால் நாம் இளைஞர்கள் வெகு விரைவில் கோழையாகவும் ,மானங்கெட்டவர்களாகவும் ஆகும் நிலை வெகு விரைவில்……..” Madurai Muthu said while uploading the video which means “If this situation continues, our youths will soon become cowards and shameless”

On Sunday, music director cum actor and producer Vijay Antony came up with a tweet in his official twitter handle, saying that each and every man who comes from humble background is working for his family, irrespective of where he comes from. “No matter he is from north, south, west or east, he is also working for his family like any other poor human” and expressed his wish over embracing them.

The tweet garnered as many as 30k plus likes from the users of the micro blogging social media site with thousands of reactions. A section of users also expressed their disagreement over the tweet based on the recent viral incident. Madurai Muthu who is pretty much keen about the safety and precaution of Tamil speaking youths in this issue, countered Vijay Antony’s statement asking why actor Vijay’s film was stopped to release in a different state if “Yaathu Ooore Yavarum Kelir” is the case.
