In fact, it is said that he was paid only Rs. 50 lakhs for “Kaithi,” the film that brought him into the limelight. Recently, in an interview, Robo Shankar, who is a die-hard fan of Kamal Haasan, was questioned about what he would do for Kamal Haasan like how Lokesh did “Vikram” for him as a fam boy.  Robo Shankar revealed that Lokesh would be appearing in a guest role in his upcoming movie “Singapore Saloon,” in which RJ Balaji is the lead hero. It is notable that Lokesh already did his cameo on his own film “Master”. However, this will be the first time Lokesh will be appearing in a film of a different director.

Gokul who is known for making films such as “Itharku Thaane Aasaipattai Balakumara”, “Junga” is the director of Singapore Saloon. During the shoot, when Robo Shankar met Lokesh, the young director held Robo Shankar’s hands and said that he had never seen such a dedicated fan follower like him.

During the shoot of “Singapore Saloon,” Robo Shankar requested Lokesh to give him a chance in any funny roles in his upcoming film with Kamal Haasan. However, Lokesh replied that his movie scenes would only have serious and action sequences. Despite this, Robo Shankar also asked Kamal Haasan for a chance to act alongside him, to which the legendary actor gave a positive response.
