Lokesh Kanagaraj who is known among Tamil cinema audience for making films such as “Vikram” with Kamal Haasan and “Master” with Vijay, attended the award function conducted by Vikatan Magazine. Director Nelson Dilipkumar also attended the event as one of the guests. A comparison between both the filmmakers making their entry in the red carpet of the event is being made by the fans in internet platforms.

Going by the comparisons made by the users of online platforms, it could be understood that they are pretty upset over the way both the filmmakers got treated by the organizers of the event. Sharing two video, many online users expressed their disappointment over Nelson Dilipkumar was left alone unlike Lokesh Kanagaraj.

Nelson Dilipkumar became a subject to severe criticism after making “Beast” with Thalapathy Vijay whom he identifies as his idol since very long time. On the other hand, Lokesh Kanagaraj is basking in the success of “Vikram”, one of the biggest hits in the history of Kollywood film industry. The viral video shows bouncers and show organisers accompanying till the very end of the red carpet. Protection was provided to the ” Master” maker till the very end and many cameras kept capturing him for a long time.

In the same event, Director Nelson Dilipkumar who is currently directing Superstar Rajinikanth for his upcoming film “Jailer”, made his entry with a limited reception from the show runners. To our shock, the filmmaker was shown a direction by one of the event organizers and could be seen being asked to keep walking towards that direction by himself. Bouncers who accompanied him for a little distance, could be seen leaving him and the director walked with Redin Kingsley towards the function.

Lokesh Kanagaraj debuted through “Maanagaram”, a film that started Sundeeep Kishen and Sree in the lead roles. The film became a commercial success and the filmmaker got an opportunity to direct Karthi in his second film “Kaithi”. After that, he went on to direct Thalapathy Vijay in his 64th film “Master”. However, his breakthrough came from “Vikram” starring Kamal Haasan. Now, he is busy directing Thalapathy Vijay again through a film named “Leo” which is scheduled to release during October month this year. Fans have huge expectations over the film due to the promotional activities made by the production house of the film so far.

Nelson Dilipkumar debuted through a film named “Kolamavu Kokila” in which he directed Lady Superstar Nayanthara. He went on to make a film titled “Doctor” which became a commercial success. However, his third film “Beast” didn’t go as expected as a result of which he received criticisms from fans and critics. Now, he is currently busy directing Superstar Rajinikanth in his “Jailer”in which Sivakarthikeyan is  expected to make a cameo. Fans of Superstar Rajinikanth and Nelson Dilipkumar are eagerly waiting for the come back of them as both of their previous films disappointed fans.
