“I myself seen this news on Whatsapp. It is not at all true. The news on the norms of lockdown is going to be tightened by me is absolutely fake.” said Edappadi K Palaniswami while addressing the press who went on to explain why Chennai is affecting in large manner due to this COVID 19. “Chennai is a city with highest population. More than 87 lakh people are residing in the city. They are living in a very small space as streets are only 5 feet wide. 7 or 8 people are living in a small house. This is why the virus is spreading easily” said the Chief minister.

He who said that there has been no vaccine found for this virus yet, suggested that self discipline is the only way to get rid of the virus. “People should follow the norms announced by the government” he said. The chief minister further said that he feels bad on seeing people not taking it seriously. “I have seen many people roaming without masks on my way. It makes me feel bad. People are not being aware of the seriousness of this virus. We have demonstrated the struggle faced by a Corona patient and displayed it to the public. But they are not following the message it said.” he said.
