A viral video which shows a stone falling on a couple of bikers who were travelling in the Thamarassery ghat sent shock waves to the users of internet. It has been recorded by the bikers who were travelling from behind. The video is being widely shared with people quoting captions such as “Life is unpredictable” and “What should happen will happen” etc.

One of the two who were travelling in the bike died due to the severe injuries with another one going through medical treatment. Victims of the nature has been identified as Aneesh and Abhinav who are aged 26 and 20 respectively.

In the video, it could be seen that a rock coming from a higher altitude hitting the bike of Abhinav and Aneesh. They were thrown into the valley by the force within seconds. The stone then hit on a tree and jammed in the fifth hairpin turn.

It has been reported that six friends were travelling to Wayanad in three bikes. Reports suggests that the rock which fell on the victims between 5th and 6th hairpin bend, moved from it’s position due to the falling of a tree. The bike got stuck on the protection fence.
