Prominent Tamil actor Siddharth who is known for his works across the country, endorsed the tweet of Tamil nadu finance minister Dr. P.T. Thiaga Rajan against Sadhguru aka Jaggi Vasudev of Isha Foundation. The “Boys” actor shared the tweet by referring to a popular dialogue from a Tamil movie named “Sathuranga Vettai” where the protagonist would ask “Ilayathapathy Vijay Thaakkapattara?” (He really got attacked ?) and said that “shots were fired at Jaggi vasudev”. Siddharth, for past recent days, has been facing the wrath of right wing supporters for his stance in Indian Politics.

On Wednesday, Tamil nadu Finance Minister Dr. Palanivel Thiaga Rajan brought a screen shot of a six year old tweet of Sadhguru and decoded it to prove his statement wrong scientifically. His tweet garnered wide attention with most of the people questioning why he is wasting time of proving him wrong while there are lot of tasks awaiting for him to get completed. Many welcomed the humour sense of the DMK minister and encouraged him to get involved in roasting such people who are involved in laundering money in the pretext of representing God.

The war of words between Tamil Nadu’s newly minted Finance Minister P Thiaga Rajan and Jaggi Vasudev of Isha Foundation is taking place for past few days. The heated exchanges between the two began with Thiaga Rajan calling Jaggi Vasudev, the Founder of Isha Foundation, a ‘commercial operator’ and a ‘publicity hound’ in a an interview with The Hindu.

“Will a godman, who is focused on god, be selling Sivarathiri tickets for ₹5,00,000, ₹50,000 and ₹5,000? Is that a sign of a man of god? Is that the identifying mark of a spiritual man? He is a commercial operator pretending to use god and religion to get help,” he questioned at the interview referring to Jaggi Vasudev aka Sadhguru.

Among the hundreds of reactions PTR’s recent tweet received, Unexpectedly, Tamil actor Siddharth joined him to troll the self proclaimed God man. “Jaggi thaakka pattaar. Shots fired.” read the tweet of the “Jil Jung Juk” actor. Here’s his tweet :

A couple of months ago, Siddharth revealed about the ordeal he went through for standing against the BJP government. For criticizing the BJP led government, actor Siddharth’s contact number was shared in social media and he was threatened. The actor, after bringing the trauma he was going through to the light with his tweets, refused police protection saying that the time of cops should be used in something else amidst this pandemic situation. He received huge support from public and from the important people of various other industries.
