A picture actress Ileana uploaded in her official Instagram handle, impressed her followers as the “Nanban” heroine didn’t edited or added any filter to it before uploading it for the public view. Flaunting her original body curves, Ileana, through the caption, embraced the “so-called” flaws of her body structure and impressed hundreds of her followers. Many messaged the actress, thanking her for inspiring them through her post. Sharing the screen shots, Ileana expressed her happiness over the reception her post garnered.

Being an Indian film actress, Ileana D’cruz who predominantly appears in Telugu and Hindi films, has starred in two Tamil films and known among Tamil audience for pairing up with Vijay in Shankar’s “Nanban”, remake of 3 idiots. Ileana won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut- South for the 2006 for Telugu film Devadasu. She established herself in Telugu cinema with commercially successful films such as Pokkiri, Jalsa , Kick and Julayi . In Tamil cinema, D’Cruz has debuted in “Kedi”, pairing up with Ravi Krishna.

The actress is enjoying nearly 14 million followers for her official Instagram account and is pretty much active in engaging them. On Friday, she came up with a picture of herself in her official Instagram handle in which she could be seen flaunting her curves by wearing a red bikini.

Sharing the post in her story, Ileana said there are so many apps are there to make one look pretty but she chose to delete them all and be original. Ileana said that she is embracing every inch of her body curve and herself. “So easy to get sucked into apps that get you alter your body so effortlessly to make you look “slimmer”, “more toned”, etc etc etc… Proud of the fact that I’ve deleted all those apps and chosen this instead. This is me and I’m embracing every inch, every curve, all of me” her post read.

On seeing the post, many of her followers flooded the actress’s inbox with messages. A follower said that his girlfriend had similar issues with her legs. “My GF also had a problem in her legs since she was child. Her legs a bit bigger than what they should be and all her life she was embarrassed to even wear shorts. She used to crop her photos till her waist and put them on social media” the follower said and thanked Ileana for sharing such post which would help his girlfriend to come out of her insecurity.

Earlier, when a fan asked the actress “Did you face any flak for having an awkward body??”, she replied to him saying “Firstly, I don’t have an “awkward” body type. Nobody does. Secondly, yes I have been criticised for my body type. But I am trying to learn to love myself for who I am and not try to conform to someone else’s ideals.”
