Leading South Indian heroine Shruthi Haasan who recently had two releases with Chiranjeevi and Balayya simultaneously, thrashed media portals which published false reports about her. Highlighting the reports that said she is suffering from terrible disease and mental problems, the actress uploaded a series of stories slamming such publications.

Instead of terming it as a “viral fever” from which the actress suffered recently, a news portal said that she is suffering from “terrible disease”. Sharing the screenshot, Shruthi Haasan asked “Ok so my flue turned into this??”

Two more news portals said that the actress ja suffering from mental problems and is going through treatment for the same. Brushing off such reports, Shruthi Haasan came up with a story calling out such journalism. The actress said that these kind of over dramatization makes people to feel reluctant about talking about their mental health.

In one of the three stories, Shruthi Haasan also said that one will never look good while trying to make someone else bad. “Ok, So here’s the thing. Misinformation like this and the over dramatisation or flippant handling of such subjects Is what makes people afraid to talk about mental health Guess what ? It doesn’t work” said Shruthi Haasan through her story.

“I will always be a mental health advocate , I will always promote, Taking care of myself. In all aspects, Oh and I had a VIRAL FEVER” she further added and concluded her post writing “So nice try, Get over yourselves. And while you’re at it, please talk to a therapist, no really, please do”
