Lady Superstar Nayanthara and Lawrence – Last year, the film industry was abuzz with rumors that actor-director Raghava Lawrence had been approached to play the lead in Rathna Kumar’s next film. Now, it has been officially confirmed that Nayanthara will be playing the female lead in the film, and pre-production work is currently underway.

When asked about the development, Rathna Kumar shared, “Talks are still ongoing with the actors, and everything is in the initial stage. I am currently busy with another project, but I will begin working on this film by the end of this month.” While the director remained tight-lipped about the project’s details, he did reveal that it would be a pure horror flick.

Meanwhile, Raghava Lawrence is currently shooting for two highly anticipated sequels – P Vasu’s horror comedy Chandramukhi 2 and Karthik Subbaraj’s action thriller Jigarthanda 2. Lawrence is a multitalented artist who has carved a niche for himself in the industry as a director, choreographer, and actor.

Chandramukhi 2 is a horror comedy directed by P Vasu, who also directed the first film in the franchise, Chandramukhi, which was a huge commercial success. The sequel stars Lawrence, S J Surya, along with actress Laxmi Menon in a pivotal role.
